About Me
With more than sixteen years and 40,000+ professional sea miles under his keel, as engineer and Captain, Bernard Merryweather brings practical experience to the field of yacht surveying.He holds a Diploma in Small Craft Surveying from Lloyds Maritime Academy, is an accredited member of the Yacht Designers and Surveyors Association (YDSA), a member of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors (IIMS), an ITC (part of the FLIR group) level one thermographer and carries appropriate Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
He works throughout the UK and Europe but specializes in the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza).
He also holds an MCA Master 200 license and is a qualified RYA Yachtmaster Instructor.
